Check that each pronoun clearly refers to the noun it replaces.
Change passive to active voice when possible.
Consider rewriting sentences that use verbs to be.
Rewrite nominalizations into verb forms.
Unstack modifying nouns.
Consider changing academic sounding words to plain words.
